PRACTICE QUESTIONS OF RATIO AND PROP – 5

1.) Two numbers are in the ratio of 3:5. If each number is increased by 20 then the new ratio becomes 5:7. Find the original numbers.
(Ans 30,50)

2.) Two numbers are in the ratio of 2:3. If each number is increased by 15 then the new ratio becomes 7:9. Find the original numbers.
(Ans 20,30)
