Govt. of Haryana has established a new Medical College at Karnal in the name of Kalpana Chawla, the famous astronaut. Karnal is a historic city situated on NH-1 (G.T. Road) midway between Delhi & Chandigarh, having 24 hours’ connectivity through Roads and Railways. The Medical College is located in the heart of the city on an area of 50 acres of land, having its 500 bedded centrally air-conditioned, the state of the art Hospital, well equipped College building, air-conditioned library with modern residences. The Govt. of India (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare) vide letter No. U-12012/7/2017-ME.1 (FTS.3093749) dated 29.05.2017 had granted permission for annual intake of 100 MBBS students under Section 10A of the IMC Act, 1956 and accordingly the first batch of 100 students of MBBS Course was admitted in the Session 2017-18 and the second batch was admitted in 2018-19. The Govt. of India/Board of Governors in supersession of MCI has also permitted to admit the 3rd Batch of MBBS students in the current year 2019-20.

Applications are invited on the prescribed proforma for the following vacant posts of Professors/Associate Professors/Assistant Professors/Medical Officer/Lady Medical Officer on regular basis in Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal. The prescribed Application Form can be downloaded from the website of the College www.kcgmc.edu.inwhich must be accompanied by a Demand Draft worth Rs. 500/- for General Category and Rs. 125/- for Reserved Categories (for Haryana Domicile only) in favour of the Director, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal Applications, complete in all respects, must reach in the Office of Director, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal by 14.08.2019 up to 5:00 p.m. through registered/speed post only.
